Whether I wanted it or not, people will forget me when the future is changed. It isn't really worth considering "what-ifs" at this point.

I don't have experience with such things, and I'm certain I never will. I can't offer much advice when I have no base to work off of.

If it were a matter of guiding you to a fixed result, that would be one thing. But as it is, the only thing I could offer is a shallow answer with no room to account for any feelings or nuance.

Right now, the logical solution is to let him deal with the aftermath of not listening or understanding the position I was coming from after I was very clear about it. Messing with his memories or feelings was just an affectation to soothe my conscience.
